The Government of the Russian Federation is introducing a ban on car gasoline export from March 1 to August 31 inclusive. This is evidenced by the relevant decree of the Russian government.
“The restriction will not apply to deliveries carried out by direct manufacturers of oil products,” the document says.
It is noted that “the decision was made to maintain a stable situation in the domestic fuel market, maintaining the oil refining economy, counteracting the gray export of automotive gasoline”.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak supported the decision to introduce the ban on the export of gasoline for companies that do not produce it for the period from March 1 to August 31 of the current year with the aim of balancing the market during increased demand
