Government Of Yemen And Khusita Has Reached An Agreement To Reduce Economic Tension

The Yemena government and the rebels of the Yemeni movement “Ansarullah” (Husits) agreed to take some measures to reduce tension in the banking and aviation sectors.

This was reported in the office of the special representative of the UN for Yemen Hans Grundberg.

The text sent to the UN office notes that “the parties announced the cancellation of the decision and actions that they took in relation to banks.”

In accordance with the agreement, flights between Sana and Jordan will resume and will be increased to 3 times a day, and flights to India and Cairo will be organized daily or as necessary.

According to the UN office, the Yemen and Husit government requested support from the UN in the implementation of the agreed points.

The UN is ready to support this issue and will also play the UN offices in Jordan, Egypt and India in this matter, emphasizes in the statement.
