The Council of the Federation of Russia at a meeting on Wednesday approved the candidacy of Senator Sergei Mamedov to the post of auditor of the Accounts Chamber, RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, the Council of the Federation received a submission of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on Mamedov. In this position he will change Tatiana Blinov.
Recall that on the eve of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin proposed to appoint an auditor of the Accounts Chamber of Senator Sergey Mamedov. This was announced by the President of the President in the Council of Arthur Muravyev.
We note that Sergey Mamedov is the grandson of the legendary Azerbaijani journalist Enver Mamedov, who served as the post of first deputy chairman of the USSR, the son of George Mamedov – a famous Soviet and Russian diplomat, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia. Sergey Mamedov himself since 2011 is a member of the Federation Council of Russia.
