This is stated in a statement by the Prime Minister of New Zealand Chris Hipkins, published on the government’s website.
“The accession of the United Kingdom to a comprehensive and progressive agreement on a transistochean partnership is the great news for the region,” said Hipkins,
According to him, the participation of the UK “will expand the economic capabilities of the region for further growth and development.”
Great Britain has become the first new part of the partnership since its creation.
