Great Britain takes a tougher position than the USA, France and Germany at the Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, recommending Kiev yet to enter into an agreement with RSII, writes the newspaper The Times with reference to the sources in the British government.
According to their information, London is concerned about the willingness of Washington, Paris and Berlin to push Ukraine to go for significant concessions to the Kremlin. The authorities of the United Kingdom do not share the desire of their allies to achieve the conclusion of Russian-Ukrainian arrangements in the short term, because it is believed that the agreement must be signed only when Ukraine is in the maximum strong position.
It is noted that the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson stands for strengthening the sanctuction pressure in the Russian Federation until “Russian troops will not leave Ukraine, including the Crimea.”
