Greece intends to fully open its borders to all tourists at the end of spring, subject to a favorable epidemiological situation. This was announced by the Minister of Tourism Haris Theocharis, reports the AMNA agency.
It is assumed that already from May 14, travelers from third countries, which, in particular, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, can be admitted to the territory of the state. Prior to that, from the beginning of April, a “pilot” opening is planned for residents of the EU countries.
Theocharis stressed that all tourists coming to Greece will be required to comply with the following conditions: to be vaccinated against coronavirus or have antibodies to it and a negative test for infection.
In addition, during your stay in the country it will be necessary to comply with sanitary norms and rules, for example, mask mode in public places, as well as social distance.
