Greece Recognized Responsibility For Crash Of Ship With Migrants

Greece’s coastal guard showed serious negligence during the ship’s disaster with migrants off the coast of Pelopones in June 2023. “Ombudsman completed the investigation of the disaster, during which a number of serious violations were identified by senior Greek coastal guards during search and rescue operations,” the statement will be said.

According to the report, the actions and inaction of responsible persons may fall under criminal liability for the creation of a deadly threat, as well as for the expulsion, health and physical integrity of people with serious risk.
