Greece will leave the system of enhanced observation of the European Union on August 20 after 12 years, said the Minister of Finance of Greece Christ Steinus, reports Reuters.
“After 12 years … A heavy chapter for our country is coming to an end. Greece returns to the European normality and will no longer be an exception in the eurozone,” he said, adding that Athens fulfilled most obligations and reforms.

Greece’s exit from enhanced supervision will mean more degrees of freedom in conducting economic policy and will bring the country’s purpose to restore the status of an investment level.
