Growth of economy of Kazakhstan since beginning of year amounted to 4.8%

According to the results of January-July of the current year, the growth rate of the economy of Kazakhstan amounted to 4.8 percent. This was announced by the Minister of National Economy of the Republic Alibek Kuantyrov at a government meeting.

“including growth in the real sector, amounted to 4.6 percent, and in the service sector – 4.7 percent. Positive dynamics are noted in all basic industries, while construction, trade, as well as information and communication” are most growth ” – said the head of government.

The minister noted that the growth rate of investment in fixed assets was 12.4 percent.

Investment influx grew in transport and storage – by 57.7 percent, education – by 24.3 percent, trade – by 22.6 percent, agriculture – by 21.3 percent, as well as in industry – by 9 percent including in the mining industry – by 8.4 percent.

“In the regional context, the best indicators are noted in the field of Abay, Mangistau, West Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions,” Kuantyrov added.
