GUERRISH made a written statement on the occasion of “International Pandemia Day for Pandemia”.
The Secretary General noted that although the Kovid-19 problem is no longer considered with such acuteness in the field of international health, but its destructive consequences are still ongoing. Guterres added that the economic consequences of the epidemic are also preserved.
He recalled that healthcare systems are fighting serious problems, and millions of people in developing countries do not have access to vaccines.
