In the Polish city of Bydgosh, a women’s chess tournament was completed, held as part of the International Chess Festival in memory of the ex-president of Poland Leha Kachinsky.
The winner of the competition was the leading Azerbaijani chess player Gunai Mammedzade. With 6 points, she alone took 1st place.
Thanks to this success, Gunai significantly improved its rating, adding 11.3 points. Now its coefficient is 2466, and she rose in the women’s ranking from 27th to 21st place.
