Gutherrish Calls To Avoid Actions That Can Plunge Entire Middle East Into War

After the attacks in Beirut and Tehran, the UN Secretary General Gutherrish called on the parties and the international community refrain from actions that can plunge the entire Middle East into the war.

The UN press secretary’s office made a written statement on behalf of Guterrish.

The Secretary General in his statement noted that the attacks in Beirut and Tehran led to a very dangerous escalation of tension, undermining efforts to stop the fire in gas, the release of prisoners, calmness on the “blue line” and increasing the volume of humanitarian aid.

According to the statement, the Secretary General constantly calls for restraint, Guterrysh noted that the call for restraint is insufficient at this extremely sensitive moment.

GUERRISH called on the parties and the international community refrain from actions that can plunge the entire Middle East into the war.

Having warned that this will have terrible consequences for the civilian population, the politician emphasized the need to reduce tension in the region with diplomatic agents.
