Hakan Fidan: 5th Meeting Of Turkish-Iraq Security Mechanism Was Saturated And Interesting

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said that the 5th meeting of the Turkish-Iraqi high-level security mechanism has passed very intensively and positively, the parties discussed strategic issues between two friendly countries.

Fidan answered questions from media representatives before leaving the NEST Congress Center, where the 4th diplomatic forum (ADF-2025) was held.

According to the minister, the 5th meeting of the Turkish-Iraqi high-level security mechanism was saturated and interesting.

“The meeting was very positive. We discussed in detail strategic issues between two friendly countries,” added the Foreign Minister of Turkey.

Hakan Fidan noted that this security mechanism is an increasingly institutionalized platform between Turkey and Iraq.

According to him, this platform reflects the professionalism of representatives of the two countries.
