Some forces are trying to disrupt the policy of the Syrian government, which it spends for several weeks without any violations, said the Foreign Minister of Turkey Hakan Fidan.
Fidan spoke after the summit of the five countries on security issues held in the capital of Jordan Aman at a joint press conference with his Jordanian, Iraqi, Lebanese and Syrian colleagues.
According to the minister, the summit participants discussed issues related to Syria stability, including the fight against terrorism and regional terrorist activities: “Of course, we are determined to help the new Syria government in all aspects and support all its stabilizing actions.”
Fidan emphasized that for Alavites, Christians, Druzov in Syria it is important to stay away from provocations.
He added that the countries of the region and Türkiye do not support any initiatives that destabilize Syria. The minister noted that Ankara protects the sacred rights of the civilian population to life, property and cultural rights on all platforms.
In addition to the heads of the Foreign Ministry, the Minister of National Defense of Yashar Guller and the head of the National Intelligence Organization (Mi̇t) Ibrahim Kalyn, the Secretary of the Defense, the chiefs of the General Staffs and the leaders of the intelligence officers of Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, were present at the Safety Squad.
