Khalg OJSC has successfully completed annual activities, once again confirming the stable position in the banking market for 2021.
Following the results of 2021, Halg Bank retained market positions on the main financial indicators. So, at the end of the year, the amount of assets of the bank amounted to 2,339.39 million manat, the volume of the loan portfolio of 1,406.98 million manat, the volume of deposits excluding banks and other financial institutions 1,543.27 million manat, cumulative capital 449,18 million manat, net profit increased by 5.88%, reaching 27.29 million manat. Thus, according to the main financial indicators, Halg Bank is in the top three largest private banks of Azerbaijan.
Over the past year, the Bank has successfully developed cooperation with international and local partners as well as global payment systems. In accordance with the Bank’s accepted strategy, special attention was paid to such areas as the expansion of the range of products and services, network of ATMs and POS-terminals, an increase in non-cash operations and digitalization of banking services. The Xalq Online mobile banking system with a single platform for legal entities and individuals launched in 2021 was awarded the award of the international agency SME Banking Club as “the best application for servicing the corporate segment of 2021”.
In 2021, the international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service confirmed Halg Bank a rating of long-term commitments in local and foreign currency at the B2 level, while maintaining the outlook on the rating “Positive”. The Agency approved the basic level of creditworthiness of the Bank (Baseline Credit Assessments) at B3, short-term and long-term counterparty risk rating (CR Assessments) in local and foreign currency at B1 (CR) / NOT Prime (Cr).
In the framework of the Cultural and Social Project “Halg Amanata” in 2021, an art album dedicated to the life and work of the artist Shamo Abasov was presented to the general public.
