Since the beginning of a large-scale war, begun by Russia, Iran publicly declared the position of neutrality and advocated a ceasefire and political and diplomatic settlement. About this, as the Ukrainian media writes, the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko says.
He noted that in this context, the Ukrainian side is preoccupied with a change in rhetoric from the Iranian leadership.
“Any accusations of allegedly preparing an attack on the Russian Federation are unreasonable and manipulative. We urge the Iranian side to refrain from statements or steps that will fuel the war in Ukraine,” said the official representative of the Foreign Ministry.
Note, the Supreme Leader of Iran Ali Khamenei at a meeting held with Vladimir Putin in Tehran, said that if NATO had not been stopped in Ukraine, then after some time he would have started a war under the pretext of Crimea.
