Today in the Baku Appeal Court there was a complaint about the change in the preventive measure by the head of the site Azadinfo.az Mahiru Alekperley (Hattab), which was previously arrested by the decision of the Binagadinsky District Court as part of the criminal case in connection with the receipt of a bribe.
According to HaqQin.az, the court rejected the complaint of the accused of changing the preventive measure to the home arrest.
Recall, Makhir Alekperly was detained by the head of the Main Directorate to combat corruption under the general prosecutor of Azerbaijan in the evening of September 9, when receiving a bribe in the amount of two thousand manat from the former chairman of the Binagadin district organization of the ruling party “Yeni Azerbaijan” Ramiz Gheyshev.
