Head Of Euro -dysprepy Urged Countries To Increase Military Expenses

If the countries of the European Union do not increase defense costs, then their security will be under a serious threat.

This was stated by the Supreme EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of Kai Callas at a meeting of the heads of the Foreign Ministry of NATO in Brussels.

The politician noted that the military expenses of Russia are more than 9 percent of its gross domestic product (GDP).

According to Callas, the European Union countries are taking steps to achieve the targeted indicator of defense costs within the framework of NATO. As an example, she cited the White Book prepared by the European Commission, dedicated to defense and security issues. It provides for an increase in military spending and expanding defense production until 2030, as well as the allocation of funds for the implementation of joint defense projects.

“This plan corresponds to the goals of NATO to build up the potential. It will contribute to the fulfillment of NATO tasks to European countries. This will do all NATO stronger, which is our goal,” said the head of the Eurodolomatia.
