The achievement of peace in Ukraine by means of force meets the interests of the United States, said the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Layen.

The head of the European Commission noted that Ukraine should be included in peace negotiations with a strong position.
“The achievement of the world in Ukraine by means of force corresponds to the interests (US President Donald) Trump. If he wants to achieve this, then this is possible only with the support of the EU and the Sovereign countries, since it is necessary to fulfill a number of conditions. For example, it is we who ensured the economic viability of Ukraine until 2025. Now we invest in the Ukrainian defense industry and provide the country with the necessary military capabilities. 26 EU countries are unanimous in support of Ukraine
Answering the question of the position of Hungary, Antoniu Costa emphasized that 26 EU countries consider the strengthening of the defense of Ukraine to the world.

Kota also emphasized that the summit was organized to discuss the concern of European leaders about the position of the Donald Trump administration regarding the conflict in Ukraine and the security of Europe.
