Head of European Commission called on to transfer any weapon to Ukraine

The head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Layen urged the Allies to take an important step forward in the support of Ukraine and pass on to Kyiv any weapon that he is able to use. She stated this in an interview with CNN on the fields of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

According to von der Lyain, she expects such a decision at a meeting of the contact group in Ukraine at the German Ramstein air base on January 20. Von der Layen believes that Ukraine should get all the military capabilities that it needs and which it can use, including modern systems.

She also emphasized that the European Union has already approved the program of macrofinance credit to Ukraine for 18 billion euros.
