Head Of European Commission Visited An Exhibition Of Drones In Kyiv

The head of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyan, during a visit to Kyiv, examined the exhibition of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), organized for international partners in the “Ukrainian House”.

At the exhibition, in which the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov and representatives of Ukrainian State Peninsula and other officials also took part, various types of drones were presented. Among them are drums used for attacks on Russian equipment, as well as intelligence and multifunctional UAVs capable of performing logistics, mining and shocks in the Kamikadze mode.

In addition, the wreckage of the Iranian drone “Shahed”, which, according to the Ukrainian side, previously struck the shelter of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, as well as the Russian Gerbera UAV, which, as the stated in Kyiv, was used to overload Ukrainian air defense, are demonstrated to European officials.

In Kyiv, they expect that cooperation with the EU in this area will be expanded by additional financing, direct purchases of military products and the creation of joint ventures with European defense companies.
