As reported, on Friday the work visit of the Gazprom delegation to Turkey took place. As part of the visit in Istanbul, a meeting of Miller and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the participation of the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Fatikh Donmes took place. The meeting discussed issues related to the supply of Russian gas to Turkish consumers, as well as the prospects for creating a gas hub in Turkey.
As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin made the initiative to lay additional gas pipeline threads from Russia to Turkey, as well as the creation of a gas hub on the border of the EU, which could become an alternative to other centers for determining the price of gas in Europe.
Gazprom supplies gas to Turkey on the Marine Stream and Turkish Stream Marine gas pipelines, laid through the Black Sea.
