Head of the General Staff of Armenia Armenia Artak Davtyan was charged with “Toynaya’s case”, said the Greparak newspaper.
The publication claims that the Davtyan is not arrested, but does not respond to calls and messages. The interests of the Head of the General Staff, Mnatsanakan Maugian, said that he does not yet know what the accusation is.
Recall that earlier the ex-Minister of Defense of Armenia David Tonoyan and David Galstyan (more known as “Patron David” were arrested on suspicion of embezzlement. Tonanoan and Galstyan are suspected of embezzling about 2.3 billion drams (about $ 4.7 million), the commission of socially dangerous actions and forks, as well as in the supply of the Ministry of Defense of the old and unsuitable artillery shells.
