The head of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov checked the groups of troops that participate in the so -called “special military operation” in Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on Saturday.
“Army General Valery Gerasimov listened to commanders on the use of troops during the fulfillment of the tasks of a special military operation, as well as other officials on the military support of the actions of Russian troops in various directions,” the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said in a statement.
