The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov inspected the group of the West forces, which takes part in hostilities in Ukraine.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Belousov held a meeting at the Department of the Office of the Group of the West forces, where he heard the reports of the command on the current situation, ensure troops in the area of the “special military operation” and the nature of the enemy’s actions in the group of responsibility of the group.
The commander of the group, Colonel General Sergei Kuzovlev, reported that since the beginning of the year in the Izyum direction, 18 settlements were taken under the control of more than 330 square kilometers of territories. “In four settlements, we currently continue to conduct hostilities,” the commander said.
At the command post, Andrei Belousov reported the features of the use of modern unmanned aerial vehicles for various purposes, used both for inflicting fire defeat and delivery to the military groups of material and technical means to advanced positions.
