The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey Abdulkadir Uraloglu visited the Mosque of Omeyadov in the capital of Syria, the city of Damascus.
The employees of the mosque informed the Minister and members of the Turkish delegation about the state of the mosque.
The delegation led by Uralogl visited the tomb of Selahddin Ayubi, as well as the 111-year-old graves of the first martyrs (Shehids) in the history of Turkish aviation.
The graves of Captain Fethi, the first lieutenant Sadyk and Lieutenant Nuri, who in 1914 made a flight from Istanbul to Cairo, but died during the flight, are located behind the historical mosque.
The Turkish delegation, who arrived in the Syrian capital the day before, was accompanied by a temporary attorney in business at the embassy in Damascus Burkhan Koroglu.
On Wednesday, April 23, meetings of Uralogl with the Minister of Public Work and Housing Syria Mustafoy Abdulzozaku are planned.
