According to information received from sources in security agencies, after a visit to Baghdad last week, the head of the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (Mi̇T) Ibrahim Kalyn on Monday held negotiations in Erbil.
Kalyn met with the chairman of the Democratic Party of Iraqi Kurdistan (DPP) Masud Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdish regional autonomy of Iraq (Territory) Masrur Barzani, Minister of Internal Affairs Rebert Ahmed, as well as with the head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front (ITK) Hassan Turan and Deputy from ITK Kirkuk with Ershat Salihi.
During the meetings, events in the region, bilateral relations and the struggle against the terrorist organization of the RSC were discussed. Kalyn during negotiations clearly emphasized the determination of Turkey in the fight against terrorism.
During the negotiations, the question of the presence of the RSC in Suleimania and that Turkey is discomfort in connection with this situation was also raised.
During his previous visit to Iraq last week, the head of Mi̇t met with Iraq President Abdullatif Rashid and Prime Minister Iraq Muhammed Shia al-Sudani, as well as representatives of Shiite and Sunni groups and Turkmen.
