Head of Moldova Parliament himself came to ambassador of G. Osmanov … and explained significance of Azerbaijan

On Thursday, May 26, in Kisenev in the conference hall of the luxurious Radisson Blue hotel, a solemn reception took place, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova.

The solemn ceremony was visited by the chairman of the Moldovan Parliament, Igor Gros, members of the government, deputies of the parliament, as well as well -known representatives of the Moldovan public. An important note: Moldova is a parliamentary republic, and the head of the parliament occupies a key role in the leadership of the state. With his participation in the ceremony, I. Gros emphasized the special significance and priority of Azerbaijan in relations with Moldova.

Honorary guests were met by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan Gudsi Osmanov. In his welcoming speech, G. Osmanov briefly informed about the political and socio-economic successes of Azerbaijan, the restoration of the country’s territorial integrity. G. Osmanov brought to the attention the priority of the development of relations with Moldova in the concept of foreign policy interaction implemented by President I. Aliyev.

In turn, I. Grosi especially noted the role of Azerbaijan in the new regional system, and expressed hope for the further development of relations with Baku.

The ceremony continued by the performance of Azerbaijani classical and national music. Guests got the opportunity to get acquainted with the masterpieces of Azerbaijani national cooking.
