The Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, the current OSCE chairman Buyar Osmani held telephone conversations with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan and Armenia, during which the situation in the South Caucasus was discussed, according to the OSCE website.
“Osmani emphasized that he carefully monitors the situation around the Lachinsky road. … He urged all sides to reduce tension and begin a constructive dialogue,” the information emphasizes.
Osmani confirmed his readiness “for personal participation in order to help discharge tension and contribute to efforts to achieve a sustainable world.” He also said that he plans to visit Azerbaijan and Armenia.
