The head of the Kurdish regional administration of Iraq (Territory) Nevchirvan Barzani thanked Turkey for its help in a difficult period for the region.
The press service of the head of the region noted that during a meeting with Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Barzani expressed intention to develop relations with Ankara in all areas.
It is noted that as part of the Erdogan visit to Iraq, the issues of cooperation between Turkey with Iraq and the edges in the fields of economics, trade and security were discussed.
The press service emphasized that the Prime Minister of the Territory Masrur Barzani at a meeting with the Turkish leader expressed hope for the development of trade and economic relations with Turkey.
Barzani noted that for Turkish companies there are investment and trade opportunities in the edges.
Prime Minister thanked Turkey for continuing work even in difficult economic times.
In the meantime, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Masut Barzani shared in the social network X publication, in which he expressed satisfaction with the meeting with the President of Turkey.
