Shell Ben Burden, General Director of the Europeans, called on to prepare for heavy winter due to high energy prices, Izvestia reports.
“We will face a really difficult winter in Europe. Prices will rise on, and in the worst case we will find ourselves in a situation where we have to normalize them,” he said.
According to the top manager of the company, European industry is in suspense due to restriction of Russian gas supplies.
“For a long time, we believed that it would not be in the interests of Russia to cut off the largest market. Nevertheless, Putin is ready and wants to use energy resources as a weapon,” said Van Burden.
