The Minister of National Defense of Turkey Yashar Guler accepted the commander of the ground forces of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Hikmet Mirzoev.

The meeting was also attended by the commander of the Turkish Armed Forces of the Armed Forces, General Selchuk Bayractaroglu, at the invitation of which Mirzoev is in Ankara.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan the day before reported that on January 24, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Azerbaijan Republic-the commander of the ground forces, Colonel General Hikmet Mirzoev left for an official visit to Turkey.
As part of the visit, the delegation met with the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Turkish Republic, Army General Selchuk Bayractaroglu.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the current state of cooperation with the fraternal country in the military sphere.
The parties discussed the contribution of the partnership between Azerbaijan and Turkey to regional security and the prospects for its development.
