PKK terrorist organization should immediately and unconditionally lay down the weapon.
The Minister of National Defense of Turkey Yashar Guler announced on Saturday, March 15 at an event in Ankara.
“PKK terrorist organization and all its branches operating in various regions and under different names, regardless of their location, must immediately decide on dissolution and immediately and unconditionally hand over their weapons,” the minister said.
The organization, although belatedly, realized that terrorism would not lead to anything, that its existence has come to an end, and that it has no other choice but to bloom, the head of the department noted.
“The ultimate goal, which is supported by 85 million citizens, is to end terrorism, completely eliminate terrorist organizations and eliminate all threats for our country,” Guler added.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoganranei said that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time carried out a bloody crime in Turkey, and until March 2020, 7,500 security officers of the Turkish and 6,800 civilians were killed at the hands of this bloody organization.
The United States and the European Union introduced PKK to the lists of terrorist organizations. Despite the attempts of Ankara to find ways to settle the situation, the PKK terrorist organization has resumed armed attacks since July 2015.
In recent years, PKK seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches.
In Syria, PKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.” In Iran, PKK acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
