Head of Ukrainian plant sold Russia’s engines

President of Motor Sich, 83-year-old Vyacheslav Boguslaev, detained yesterday by the special services of Ukraine, is suspected of selling Russia’s engines for the sale of Russia, BBC reports.

Together with Boguslaev, the head of the Department of Foreign Economic Activities of the Enterprise was detained. He is also suspected of two articles of the Criminal Code – collaboration and aiding the aggressor state.

According to the SBU statement, Boguslaev acted in collusion with representatives of Rostec, establishing transnational channels of the illegal supply of wholesale parties of Ukrainian aircraft engine to the aggressor country. “Products were used for the production and repair of Russian helicopters, according to the department.
