The President of the World Association of Communities of the Chefs (Worldchefs) Thomas Googler visited Shushu on January 18. The trip was organized by the State Agency for Tourism.
The purpose of the trip is to introduce the guest to the historical attractions of the city of Shusha, its nature, with samples of the Karabakh kitchen.
In Shush, Thomas Googler met with the temporarily acting deputy executive director, executive director of the city reserve of the city Shusha Tural Novruzov. The head of Worldchefs got acquainted with the “executed sculptures”, the Shushin fortress, the house-museum of Bulbul and Jydyr Duzu.
Thomas Googler was demonstrated by the preparation of pilaf, in particular, a shah of pilaf. Gugler himself, inspired by Shusho, created a new dish according to a creative recipe and called it “Shushaly” (“Shushinets”).
Thomas Googler visited Azerbaijan at the invitation of the State Agency for Tourism. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in the direction of improving the culinary standards of world kitchens, conducting discussions about the development of gastroturism in Azerbaijan. As part of the visit, he took part in the conference on the topic “Prospects for promoting Azerbaijani cooking), organized by the State Agency for Tourism.
