Today, the IV consultative meeting of the heads of the Central Asian state began in Cholpon-Ata. The leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan take part in it, the Central Communications Service under the President of Kazakhstan reports.
Presidents will discuss the prospects for regional integration and cooperation, as well as the current geopolitical and economic situation. At the end of the meeting, it is planned to sign several documents on interstate cooperation.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, during his speech, said that various forces continue to bear plans to destabilize the situation in the Central Asian region.
“The latest events in our countries indicate that various forces still continue to bear plans for destabilizing the region,” he said.
According to Emomali Rahmon, the most serious challenge for the countries of the region is the promotion of the ideology of religious radicalism.
