The head of the Russian Gazprom Russian energy holding Alexei Miller and the Minister of Energy of Moldova Viktor Parlikov, during a working meeting, discussed interaction in the gas field. This is stated in the press service of the Russian company.
“During the meeting, topical issues of interaction in the gas sector were considered. In particular, the parties agreed to continue discussing options for organizing Russian natural gas supplies to Moldova from January 1, 2025, as well as ways to settle the debt of Moldovagaz JSC to Gazprom Group “,- said in the message.
The company noted that at the meeting of the Moldavian side, candidates were presented to the new composition of the board of Moldovagaz JSC.
Meanwhile, the press service of the Moldovan Ministry of Energy reported that “the parties discussed the issues of natural gas supply to Moldova (Transnistrian region) under the current contract after January 1, in particular, in case of transit through Ukraine.”
“During the discussions of Gazprom, members of the new composition of the board of Moldovagaz JSC, elected by the results of the competition held by the Ministry of Energy of the Competition, were presented. This is Dorin Zhungiyt, proposed by the ministry of the Chairman of the board of board, Vadim Cheban, nominated as vice-chairman as well as Eduard Kalanch and Radu Mandraburka, offered to the posts of the board of the board. In the near future, the named candidates will be re -put to the vote, ”the report said.
The department noted that the parties also discussed the issue of resolving the debt of Moldovagaz JSC to Gazprom.
