The presentation of a documentary dedicated to the Schehid of the Patriotic War, the champion of Azerbaijan in bodybuilding Mukhtar Gasimly was held in the Nizami movie center.
The premiere was visited by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Haibov, the famous athletes of Zemfira Methatdinov, Farid Mansurov, Rasul Chunaev and others.
The event was opened by the parents of the Shehid – Ali and Almaz Gasimly. “Our son lived for 27 years,” says the hero’s mother. “Over the years, he achieved success in sports and heroically proved himself in the war. Mukhtar can serve as an example for young people. Let our young people know our shahids, our heroes.”
“It is very difficult for me to speak. Yesterday I watched the film about my son several times. It was impossible not to cry …, – shares Ali Gasimly’s impressions.” I am proud of my son! I wish you all our shahids, and I wish our Gazi health. ”
The Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov, in the course of his speech, expressed a desire to have more such events dedicated to the Shahids.
“After a few days we will celebrate the second anniversary of our glorious victory, which we won thanks to our supreme commander, our army and our shahids. The Shechids do not die!”.

Vice Speaker Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev during his speech thanked those who helped in creating a documentary about Mukhtar Gasimly.
“Mukhtar was an athlete. I have known his parents for a long time. We will always be proud of our Shahids! Everyone who gave their lives for their homeland is worthy of such films,” the deputy said.
Mukhtar Gasimly was an employee of Azergold CJSC, who sponsored this project. The head of the board of the board Azergoldzakir Ibrahimov, sharing the memories of the Shechid, noted that Mukhtar was a kind, sociable, smiling person.
“I bow to the parents of Mukhtar. Let our youth take an example not from fictional heroes of foreign films, but from such guys as Mukhtar Gasimly,” he emphasized.

Mukhtar signed up as a volunteer after the July events of 2020. Friends of the Referee recall him as a brave, selfless, responsive … “How many wounded and dead guys Mukhtar, risking his life, transferred his shoulders to a safe place!”, The surviving comrades admire.
