Higher State Council Of Libya Condemned Unilateral Decisions Of House Of Representatives

The Higher State Council of Libya condemned the decision of the House of Representatives on the expiration of the Government of National Unity (PNU), calling this “excess of powers.”

In a written statement, the chairman of the Higher State Council of Libya Muhammad Tecale commented on the decisions of the House of Representatives on the expiration of the Government of National Unity.

Tecale said that he condemns the decision of the Assembly of representatives, which exceeded its powers and announced the expiration of the government of the national unity, calling this decision to “one -ways.”

The politician emphasized that the executive branch in Libya in accordance with the Geneva Agreement agreed at the international level belongs to the Chairman of the Presidential Council and the Government of National Unity. He stated that the functions of the Commander -in -Chief of the Army are also entrusted to the chairman of the Council.

– The decisions of the session of the House of Representatives (PP) are invalid, since it was attended by less than 20 deputies

On the other hand, deputy Salim Gneidi told the media that at a meeting at which the PP made the corresponding decision, there were less than 20 deputies.

He called for a full -fledged session in the capital of Libya Tripoli.

In the statement published on the PP page on social networks, press secretary Abdullah Bulaychik said that the Assembly at its current session decided to terminate the term of office of the executive branch (government of national unity) and before the formation of the Unified Government to recognize the government of the country’s asshole in the east of the country As a legal government.

Bulaychik also noted that at the same session of the Assembly it was decided to transfer the powers of the Commander -in -Chief of the Libyan army from the chairman of the Libyan State Council to the chairman of the House of Representatives Akileh.
