Applications on the agreement allegedly reached in Washington on the creation of international mechanisms regarding the rights and security of the Armenian population living in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan are false, the assistant to the President of Azerbaijan said, head of the external policy department of the presidential administration Hikmet Gadzhiev, commenting on the words of the Secretary of the Council Armenia Grigoryan’s security of Armenia on the alleged achievement of an agreement in Washington on the creation of international mechanisms for protecting the rights and security of Armenians living in Karabakh.
“Discussion of any issue on negotiations does not mean that an agreement was reached on this issue. On September 27, at a meeting in the White House in Washington, we once again stated that Azerbaijan would not discuss the issue of the rights and security of the Armenian population living in Karabakh, with any international partners, is the internal business of our country, regulated on the basis of the Constitution and the laws of Azerbaijan and the creation of an international mechanism, there can be no question. Azerbaijan does not intend to discuss this issue with either Armenia or other states and organizations, ”said the presidential assistant.
