The Foreign Minister of Mongolia Batmunhiin Batzesg discussed in Hiroshima the possibility of introducing hydrogen energy production technology in Mongolia.
According to Montsame, as part of a visit to Japan, which takes place from February 28 to March 5, the head of the Mongol diplomacy visited Hiroshima Prefecture.
Batzesg visited the University of Hiroshima and met with the president of Mitsuo Eye, assistant professor at the Department of Health and Biomedicines Chimead-Ochryn Odgarel and representatives of the Mongol students studying at the university.
During the meeting, the Minister praised the creation of the University of the Mongolism Center in Ulan Bator and active cooperation with the universities of Mongolia, including the expansion of the exchange of teachers and scientists.
The Minister held a friendly conversation with Mongol students and expressed the hope that they would contribute to the development of their country and the become a binding link between Mongolia and Japan.
Batzekeg got acquainted with the progress of work at the Hiroshima University Research Energy Center in the field of development of effective and environmentally friendly technologies for the production of renewable energy, including hydrogen energy, and discussed the possibility of introducing such technologies in Mongolia in the future.
As part of the visit, the Mongolian Minister held an official meeting with the governor of the prefecture Hidehiko Yuzaki, during which she expressed gratitude for the work in Hiroshima, a prefecture with a rich cultural and traditional heritage, which is a symbol of peace and beautiful nature.
The minister emphasized that the Government of Mongolia is developing a development strategy within the framework of regional policy and intends to strengthen cooperation with the prefecture of Hiroshima – one of the key historical, cultural and economic centers of Japan. Cooperation will cover a wide range of areas, including tourism, agriculture and production of food.
