In 1980, Arina Ginzburg was forced to leave the USSR after he had previously expelled her husband Alexander Ginzburg. He lived in Paris. He worked as Deputy Chief Editor of the newspaper “Russian Thought” (1980-1997), European correspondent of the radio station “Voice of America” (1982-1990).
