Hospital Of Kyrgyz-Turkish Friendship In Bishkek Provides Wide Range Of Services

In the Bishkek State Hospital of the Kyrgyz-Turkish friendship named after Recep Tayyip Erdogan, 41 thousand patients received treatment for three years.

A modern hospital for 72 beds was built with the support of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TİKA). The medical facility is located on an area of ​​about 12 square meters.

On November 5, 2024, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as part of his state visit to Kyrgyzstan, officially opened the Bishkex State Hospital of the Kyrgyz-Turkish friendship. Patients began the hospital from October 15, 2021.

The correspondent of the Anadolu agency talked with the head of the hospital Jevdate Turkurek.

According to him, the hospital is known for its cardiovascular surgery and cardiological ambulatory. The interlocutor of the agency noted that half of the patients entering the hospital suffer from cardiological diseases.

Jewed Turkurek said that in three years 800 cardiological operations were carried out in the hospital, of which 500 were in an open heart. “This is a very good indicator in Kyrgyzstan,” he added.

The head physician said that the number of medical personnel of the hospital is 171 people.

The hospital has 2 operating rooms, angios, a coronary intensive care unit, resuscitation department and general intensive care unit.

The Turkurere noted that the hospital is equipped with modern equipment that allows magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography, echocardiography, ultrasonography, mammography and direct X-ray.

Jeweded Turkurek emphasized that the Bishkek state hospital of the Kyrgyz-Turkish friendship is designed to contribute to the further development of ties between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
