On the national gymnastic arena in Baku, the World Championships in sports acrobatics with the participation of 170 athletes and athletes from 17 countries are completed.
Today, Azerbaijani acrobats were to take part in two finals. One of them has already taken place. Our men’s couple Daniel Abbasov – Murad Rafiyev in the Balance Exercise finals showed the result of 25,120 points and took the 6th place. The prizes won acrobats from Kazakhstan, Portugal and the USA.
Recall, in previous days, Daniel and Murad won two bronze medals in the final and tempo exercises.
A little later, the final will begin in the balance exercise with the participation of mixed pairs, where Azerbaijan will present Agasif Ragimov and the Seidley times. Yesterday they took silver in the “Tempe”.
At the moment, Azerbaijan has three medals – silver and two bronze. There is a chance to win the fourth award.
Recall that in addition to the achievements at the current world championship, Daniel Abbasov – Murad Rafiyev in 2019 won gold, silver and bronze at the European Championships in Israel, speaking among young people. And the Agasif Ragimov and the Seidley times are silver and bronze medalists of last year’s adult European Championship in Italy.
