In September 2022, 29 foreign airlines made regular flights to Heydar Aliyev International Airport. The largest number of passengers, not counting Azal and Buta Airways, transported Aeroflot, Turkish Airlines and Utair.
The ten most popular international areas from Baku in September included Moscow, Istanbul, Dubai, Tbilisi, Riyadh, Ankara, Abu Dabi, Tel Aviv, Izmir and Antalya. In total, 276 thousand people were served in these areas.
