How much money did allies send to Ukraine?

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, its allies have sent about $ 20 billion to Ukraine. This was stated by the country’s Prime Minister Denis Shmygal in his Telegram.

He also noted how many funds were received from the International Monetary Fund. “The IMF will provide Ukraine with an additional $ 1.3 billion! This means that the total funding from the Fund from the beginning of the war will amount to $ 2.7 billion. The tranche received will be aimed at supporting our defense capacity, payment of pensions and social programs, as well as for reference to the stability of our economy” – wrote the prime minister.

The head of the Ukrainian government thanked everyone who helps Kyiv to survive in the war and expressed the hope that the next year Ukraine expects a new large IMF program, as well as financing from the USA, the EU and other G7 countries.
