Hundreds of Afghans pretended to be journalists to leave country

Hundreds of Afghan citizens pretended to be journalists to leave the republic after the transfer of power to the “Taliban” movement, reports Khaama Press with reference to the National Union of Afghan journalists.

It is reported that during the evacuation of the Western forces from the republic, a number of organizations not related to the media made their employees, as well as their relatives and friends in the lists under the guise of journalists, which allowed the Afghans to get the necessary documents and leave the country.

It is noted that these organizations also assigned themselves as part of international financial assistance. In particular, according to the National Union of Journalists, some media sold journalistic accreditation in the black market.
