Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyyarto confirmed CNN to the CNN that his country will use the payment scheme for Russian oil and gas introduced by Russia.
The diplomat explained: “85% of our gas comes from Russia, 65% of our oil. Why? Because it is determined by infrastructure. This is not for entertainment, we did not choose the situation,” he said.
Siyyarto added that Hungary has no alternative sources or routes that would allow them to stop the import of Russian energy in the next few years.
