Hungary is ready to allocate 14 million euros to Ukraine

Budapest will not support the EU plan to provide a new package of financial assistance to Ukraine in its current version, said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

According to him, Hungary is ready to provide Ukraine with 60-70 billion forints (about 14 million euros) from its budget. He added that the allocation of such an amount “will not harm fundamentally the national interests of Hungary”.

Last week, the EU announced plans to provide 18 billion euros to Ukraine next year in the form of uniformly distributed tranches in time.
