Hungary hopes that Ukraine will join the European Union as soon as possible, said the adviser to Prime Minister Balash Orban, writes Bloomberg.
“We hope that this will happen as soon as possible. Countries – members should put pressure on the European Commission to speed up this process,” he said.
The prime minister’s adviser noted that Budapest also would not want to abandon relations with Moscow. “The position of Hungary is based on the idea of maintaining ties. So we should not separate from each other,” he added.
